A lot of people like to collect things. But in spite of this, movies are mostly collected by people. That's because everybody likes watching movies. Collecting them is not a difficult thing, what's difficult is managing the entire collection. In case the number of movies owned by a person is quite large, then it's a real problem organizing and keeping track of all the titles. Fortunately, there is a solution and that's the Coollector application.

Coollector is a software application that any movie lover or video collector out there will simply love. To the movie lover, Coollector provides access to an incredibly large collection of movies and TV series. There are advanced filters and search options at your disposal to help you find a great movie. Furthermore, you can personalize the movie database with your own movies.

Coollector is also great for the video collector as it allows the user to manage his collection of DVDS, Blu-rays, VHS tapes, or other videos stored on other storage devices. Coollector is well integrated with various online movie communities. From within Coollector you can, for example, check out the trailer of a movie posted on YouTube; or you can check out a movie’s IMDb rating.

Coollector works with the most popular versions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system – this means Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All you have to do is download the application, install it, and it will work like a charm on any of the operating systems.

When running the program for the first time, it will automatically update its movie database with the newest one available from the producer's website. This way, you will make sure you can always find the right movie in the list of titles available. Speaking of finding movies, this is not a difficult task. That's because movies can be filtered by genre, country, release date and media type. After finding the desired title, one just has to click the Add button, for adding the movie into his collection. Every movie included in the database has its own thumbnail, for making it easy to spot a desired title.

Owned movies can be set as loaned. This way it's easy to keep track of all the movies you have loaned.

It features an impressive database of movies that can be automatically updated from the Internet. Besides that, adding a movie into the user's collection is a very simple process. Furthermore, finding a desired movie is not a difficult task due to the large number of filters available, like movie genre, country, year of release and so on.

Cons:
The list of movies owned cannot be backed up. Furthermore, the number of options and features are limited.
